making my rented flat a home

Oh hey! Old news now (well, one and a half months old), but thought I'd best document it on my little blog... On the 20th December 2019, I moved into my own rented one bedroom flat in Bromley! My first time living alone, may I add!

As many of you may know, I've been saving for around six/seven years to buy my own property. I've been saving hard and am super proud of the milestones I've hit, but last year I realised that I've been spending too much time focusing on achieving future happiness and goals, that I have forgot about my present happiness, and what I need in my life now in order to be the best version of myself. Having my own space was just the thing I needed - and let me tell you, my whole mindset and outlook on life has completely changed since I moved in. I'm so much happier. SO content!

It's been lovely making my little flat a home, to finally have all of my furniture and homeware in one place after it's been split between three homes, and treat myself to some new bits too (hello, Made sofa of dreams!). Scroll on to see just what I've done with the place...
