i believe more in the scissors than i do the pencil
*Cardigan and Satchel, courtesy of Next *Audrey Necklace, courtesy of Wallpaper Rose *Cos t-shirt, charity shop, 50p *H! by Henry Holland jeans, £10.50 Quite a 'courtesy of' post today compared to my usual charity shop outfits, but I just can't help but wear my new pieces often and all together! I was recently gifted with this beautiful handmade Audrey necklace from Louise of Wallpaper Rose Jewellery. I adore the little scissors, double chain detail and rusted colour, plus I can't help but love the fact that it's named after Audrey Hepburn! Coincidently I'm currently reading Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote (who also said the quote I have used as my title), alongside the first Gossip Girl book which has many references to Audrey. It's funny how little things link together, isn't it? Love, Jazzabelle.

ReplyDeleteI really like the necklace, it's much nicer than the influx of those horrible mini mirror ones - have you seen those? talk about vanity! Anyway, these trousers are lovely too, have been missing your posts lately darling! I was thinking of organising a trip down to London in a few weeks, so hopefully I'll be able to fit in a visit to see you? jazzy ♥

Fabulous! You've inspired me to pop my embroidery scissors on a chain but maybe that would be a little dangerous? xxx
ReplyDeleteI think we have a similar shared love for Audrey. She was so beautiful but also such a kind and considerate woman.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever see the Audrey Hepburn treasures at a car boot sale or charity shop, you really need to buy it. I would recommend it completely, there’s so much crammed in there, a whole history and plenty of keepsakes. xx

Hey, thanks for the comment! :) To answer your question, I think The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of those books that you'll either really love, or get really annoyed with. I was on the "loved it" end of the spectrum, obviously! :) If you like books like The Catcher in the Rye, then I'd definitely recommend it! :)
